    • The expected arrival time must be given to lodge management a week in advance – refer to the sheet ‘Lodge Rules’.
    • Arrival time is not before 8.00 am unless by prior arrangement.
  • Group Composition
    • In order to assist management settle you in smoothly, the composition of the group must be given to the Booking Officer as soon as this is known. Details required include: number of male/female staff, number of male/female students and their age composition, and any special dietary requirements (see below).
    • A plan of the bedroom areas can be sent to you if you required for planning purposes.
  • Bedding, Towels and Footwear
    • Each person is to bring a towel and indoor footwear.
    • Each student is to bring a sleeping bag.
    • Refer to sheet ‘Lodge Rules’.
  • Student Activities
    • It is expected that school staff arrange activities so that students are out of the lodge from approximately 10am to 4pm each day wherever possible, so that the management staff can clean the lodge and make meal preparations.
    • Supervision of students by school staff is expected at all times, as school staff are responsible for enforcing lodge rules and good student behaviour.
  • Quiet time
    • Groups are expected to be totally quiet after 10.30pm, and show due concern for others who may be staying at the lodge at the same time.
  • Meals
    • Evening meals are appropriate for the school discount rate and will be from a more limited menu than that provided to the non-school guests.
    • Dietary needs will be accommodated where possible, but we cannot guarantee to comply with all dietary concerns.
    • Lunches
      • Lunches unfortunately cannot be provided by the management for school groups.
      • Guests are not permitted into the main kitchen area, as Health Department Regulations do not permit any food brought in by guests to be used in the kitchen or stored in the chef’s areas (including in the freezer). A suggested alternative is to arrange lunches through the Ski School, Abom Restaurant, or another mountain establishment that caters for school group lunches.
      • There is a domestic microwave, hot water urn, large refrigerator (but no freezer), tea, coffee and cordial available all day in the lounge area for guests to use.
